In the recent months, applications made to the UK Border Agency are taking several weeks to be acknowledged and months to be case worked. When you contact the UKBA, all what you get is a simple apology causing serious frustration to people that may need their documents for urgent family or businesses needs.

Unfortunately same day service is still not available for EEA applications which are presently experiencing the worst delays so far. Some of the applications date as back as two years ago.
